About BINEKE
COSTUMES FOR OPERA AND BALLET
- I have worked as a Cutter, Draper (executing designs, patterning and leading a team to realize the costumes) for the Santa Fe Opera, Dance, Theatre and other productions.
- Out of my own shop in Guanajuato Mexico, I produced full sets of chorus costumes for the Santa Fe Opera, Houston Opera and Metropolitan Opera.
- I worked as an assistant cutter (principal costumes) with Colleen Atwood on "Into The Woods" and "Snowwhite and the Huntsmen"
- I learned my craft in art school in the Netherlands and working as a costume maker and technician for Jane Law Costumes (principal costumes for film) and the Royal Opera and Ballet in London,UK.
- Currently I still take occasional and limited orders, and am based in Basalt Colorado
Las Vegas Show Costumes
- I have designed and made show costumes for a variety of Las Vegas Shows and artists, including Cirque du Soleil.
Felted Fashion
- I design and make Women's and Men's fashions in custom felted fabrics.
- This custom tailored and felted jacket is made from very soft and pleasant 100% Merino wool and 100% Cotton.
